וְ֠עַתָּה כֹּֽה־תֹאמַ֞ר לְעַבְדִּ֣י לְדָוִ֗יד (ס) כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת אֲנִ֤י לְקַחְתִּ֙יךָ֙ מִן־הַנָּוֶ֔ה מִֽן־אַחֲרֵ֖י הַצֹּ֑אן לִהְי֣וֹת נָגִ֔יד עַ֖ל עַמִּ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
At ngayon, ganito ang sasabihin mo sa Aking lingkod na si David: Ganito ang sabi ng Walang-Hanggan ng mga Hukbo: Kinuha kita mula sa pastulan, mula sa pagsunod sa mga tupa, upang maging pinuno ng Aking bayang Israel.
